Background

Robin Nicholas has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2015. She began practicing in 2012 while earning her Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Florida State University in 2004, which has given her a diversified perspective to counseling.

For couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship, Robin has completed Training in Emotion Focused Couples Therapy and is also a Certified Prepare & Enrich Facilitator. She utilizes these tools to help her couples navigate the many difficulties couples face.

Through her Training in EMDR, Robin is able to help guide her clients, using this extraordinary technique, through a journey of healing from past traumas.

Robin has also had experience helping people navigate through a divorce. She can help you discover ways to heal from such a painful occurrence as well as aid in strengthening your sense of self as you begin to build your new life.

If you are a parent looking for help for their teen who is struggling, Robin has extensive experience coming alongside teens and helping them with the various issues that they face.

If your child is struggling with anxiety, Robin utilizes Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR to help them manage through these tough moments.

If you have difficulty controlling your anxiety, depression, anger, or are looking to strengthen your own self-understanding, Robin can guide you in acquiring a more peaceful life through learning how to manage these strong emotional states and fortify your sense of self.
